Spark Inside are a truly inspirational charity who coach people in the justice system. If you've not heard of them do check them out, they are phenomenal.

I've worked on a couple of great projects for them including a co-produced video with one of the young people who has been through their coaching programme. He was asked to write a piece of spoken word to help promote their work to other young people in prison, funders and stakeholders. I was bought in to match the stunning, creative and thoughtful lyrics with some visuals. As a team we went through many iterations and down a few rabbit holes, but came out with a video that I'm immensely proud of.

Oviva use technology to help link dieticians up with people who need them. I was asked to create motion graphics to sit within a series videos that explain diabetes and the related dietary considerations.

The graphics help the viewer to understand the affect of sugar and insulin on on the body, as well as giving tips on healthy eating. I certainly learned a heap while making them (and cut down on my weekly jelly baby intake!)

Mentoring Plus are a phenomenal Bath-based youth charity who pair up young people with mentors, as well as supporting them through youth groups and arts projects.

I was lucky enough to be asked to run some workshops with their young people, creating posters and a booklet based on the theme 'The Wisdom of Youth'. 

Through the sessions the young people created the spray painted backgrounds (with the help of a local art practitioner) and chose slogans and typography that they wanted brought to life on these a1 posters.

I took away all of these ingredients and cooked them up into a series of posters, flyers and a booklet documenting some written work the young people had also undertaken. The results are a vibrant window into the lives of the young people.

Pact (www.prisonadvice.org.uk) do some phenomenal work with the families of prisoners. Over the last year I’ve been working on some video content with them - partnering with the team and some of their service users. Some of these videos tell an individual’s story while others are broader in scope. And watch this space, because we have more in the pipeline.
